Stage 1
Secure your child in the safety bar and harness and parents push the trike much like a pram. In this stage the front wheel is disengaged, the pedals spin freely and steering is through the parent's push bar.
Stage 2
Remove parent's push bar, safety gate and canopy. Engage the front wheel. Children can then pedal and steer the trike independently.
